Attention scholarship applicants: due to issues with the FASFA, we will take a copy of last years EFC information. If you have the statement for this year please send it. If you do not have FASFA paperwork from last year, send the statement from them showing you have started the process. Please call Maura (see below) or email her, maura_hurley@msn.com with any specific questions.
The Sons of Erin Scholarship is available to any member or child/grandchild of a member who will be pursuing secondary education including: 2 year, 4 year, or technical training. The criteria used by the committee in determining recipients include essay response, scholastic achievement, and extracurricular activities. All submitted information will be kept confidential.
Applicants must submit the following: 1. Application form (available under "List of Forms" 2. FASFA - page showing EFC 3. OFFICIAL High School Transcript, College Transcript, or Technical Institution Transcript (whichever is applicable) Please note that this is required. Transcripts must be stamped/verified by the school to be official. 4. Letter of recommendation 5. Essay
An application will only be considered if ALL the required information listed above is submitted and postmarked by April 26, 2024.
